A warm welcome to these 4 newcomers in 2023

SD Worx announced four M&A transactions in 2023, helping us realise our ambition to offer payroll & HR solutions to employers (and their employees) of all sizes across Europe.

01

Gavdi Poland

In October we welcomed Gavdi Poland, the market leader of SAP HR solutions in Poland. With this move, we are further strengthening our footprint in the dynamically growing Polish market, where we have been present since 2021. Gavdi Poland provides SAP HCM (Human Capital Management), SAP SuccessFactors consultancy and application management services and delivers its own developed solutions, which are compatible with SAP HR software and extend its capabilities. Over 120 SAP payroll and HCM experts joined the SD Worx SAP Solutions team, a well-established European group of professionals who share deep knowledge and experience in SAP HCM, SAP SuccessFactors and SAP technology. We are extremely proud to onboard more than 250 new customers, mostly local mid-sized and large Polish organisations such as Raben Group, DPD Polska, Canal+, Ciech Group and PKO Bank Polski.

02

Romanian Software

At the beginning of December, we announced the acquisition of Romanian Software. This Romanian market leader, with a complete suite of in-house-developed payroll and human capital management solutions, helps us expand our offering of own payroll technology to our domestic and international customers.

The company, headquartered in Bucharest, has a successful track record of over twenty years, employs 160 colleagues and supports more than 750 customers and their 200,000 employees. Examples of customers include Ikea, Starbucks, Louis Vuitton, Rewe, Altex, Cognizant and Pizza Hut. This strategic move allows us to expand our local presence in Romania, a fast-growing and dynamic market in Central and Eastern Europe. We see a lot of growth potential in this region, and we are convinced that our shared customers will benefit from this too.

SoftMachine

Our subsidiary Protime also announced exciting news at the end of 2023: the acquisition of its Spanish sector peer SoftMachine, building further on its ambition to become the best provider of workforce management solutions in Europe. The Belgian market leader in time registration and work scheduling was already active in the Benelux, France, Germany, the Nordics and the UK and is now expanding into the south of Europe. SoftMachine, based in Barcelona, employs 40 colleagues and supports about 450 medium-sized (inter)national customers.

It was founded in 1989 and specialises in the development and implementation of time and attendance and access control systems. It grew sustainably into a solid company with a wide international and sectorial experience designing and implementing people management solutions.

04

Nedap

Last but not least, Protime also closed a commercial agreement with Nedap in the Netherlands to take over their time registration customers.
