Extended in 2021 due to popular demand: SD Worx Radio
By bringing (un)familiar voices closer, radio has the power to connect people far apart. And that's exactly what SD Worx Radio aspired to achieve, a feel good-radio show by and for SD Worx colleagues. “The employee voice is at the heart of creating a sense of belonging,” says Kristof Duran, Marketing Communications Manager at SD Worx, and occasional radio host. Let's dive into the playlist.
'Let's get it started' - Black Eyed Peas
Kristof Duran: “In January 2020 we organised the very first SD Worx Radio, as a warm-up to the company's New Year celebration that evening. All day long, colleagues at SD Worx Belgium could request songs, send greetings, and engage in compelling interviews with our in-house radio hosts. Sending warm and positive vibes, that's what it was all about. The reactions were so enthusiastic that we concluded this wouldn't be a one-off.”
'Just can't get enough' - Depeche Mode
Kristof Duran: “In 2021, the pandemic still forced us to work mostly from home. So, what better way to (re)connect people than through radio? This time we invited our offices all over the world to join in on the fun of radio making. We kicked off in January with a New Year's edition, followed by a Spring edition in March and Back to the Future of Work in September. Each show attracted a large audience, and we gathered all requested songs in our very own Spotify playlist, good for more than 26 hours of listening time.”

'Working on a dream' - Bruce Springsteen
Kristof Duran: “SD Worx Radio turned out to be a major hit, and not a one-hit wonder. What's so great about it? The enthusiasm everybody shares. SD Worx Radio is really an initiative by and for colleagues. People love to get involved. It's heart-warming to see. I can't spill the beans on this year's plans too much, but Springsteen isn't wrong that we are working on a dream. All will soon be revealed.”
